Peter Cechello

Bringing the Gift of Hearing to Communities in Need

APO Global Foundation is honored to recognize Peter Cechello, an accomplished Audiologist from Melbourne, Australia, for generously sharing his expertise during our humanitarian outreach mission.

Peter has dedicated his professional career to improving the lives of individuals experiencing hearing loss, balance disorders, and tinnitus. His passion for helping others has taken him beyond Australia, volunteering in medical missions throughout the Philippines to serve underserved communities.

For many years, Peter has participated in annual medical missions in Cebu City, working alongside the Little Sisters of the Deaf and the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. Through these missions, he has provided hearing assessments, supported the hearing-impaired and Deaf community, and trained specialized educators who work closely with children with hearing loss. His efforts have helped countless young people improve their hearing and enhance their quality of life.

Although Peter is not a member of APO, he graciously accepted our invitation to join the APO Global Foundation outreach mission. His willingness to share his knowledge, skills, and compassion reflects the true spirit of volunteerism and humanitarian service.

"I am very honored to have been invited by APO to come here today to share my gifts and give back to people. Whatever I can offer that is useful to others is my privilege to share."

Peter also expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm welcome he received from the APO Global Foundation team and the local community.
